Plotter Cut/ Die Cut Vinyl decals (die-cut)

• These are one of the most popular decals you see every where!  These are one color decals. The decal is the image only. This means there is no backing material (clear).
• A machine with a small razor cuts into the vinyl but not the backing paper, then the excess vinyl is weeded out of the decal by hand, then covered with top application tape that is used for you to install the decal onto your surface.
• Art work requirements: These are much different than digitally printed decals. Art files must be very clean vector file. Common files are in .ai, .eps, .cdr.

• Plotter cut choices are either Permanent Gloss or Removable Matt colors. Permanent material is good for vehicles and long term (can be removed but may leave a residue that you need to clean with adhesive remover), Removable is good for a short term decal and wall art, vinyl is removable with no residue for up to 3 years.

Adding More Colors to a plotter cut decal..... YES it's possible and here is how:

Additional colors can be cut and layered together for special effects. Shown to the right, we cut out a red thin 'R' and a black bold 'R'. We carefully laid the red on top of the black.  The result is a great outline or shadow effect. You have a complete decal in your custom colors ready to be placed anywhere. Be careful picking out two colors, always, consider the background color surface.

Full Color Digitally Printed Decals: (unlimited colors)

• We use the latest technology in digital printing for high resolution brilliant colors. These type of decals can be printed with EcoSol inks, ready to install. Add extra protective clear coat for 3 more years of decal durability is optional, also provides protection from UV rays and chemicals like gas and oils. They also look great with the glossy finish.
• We can contour cut these decals to most any shape or size at no extra fee.
• Art work requirements: Digital printing allows us to print just about any file type, photographs print as good as the original photo! But the better the art work quality, the better the finished product. Our print equipment provides the highest of resolution for very sharp images, even for large format prints. The best art files are vector files, example eps. , ai. , cdr. corel. If using a jpg. png. bmp. etc we require 300 dpi resolution image.
• Digitally printed decals come in permanent vinyl or repositionable vinyl for wall art.

Reverse: The decal is usually printed with the vinyl as the image outlines, however we can do a reverse print and then your decal is cut into a square piece of vinyl and your image is then weeded out producing a different effect. Also can be used for painting or sandblasting template.

Mirror: If you want a decal to be flipped over as a MIRROR COPY. Used for vehicle graphics so you have a matching set for vehicles or for the inside of a glass window so people can read from the other side.
